Pavilion
The Pavilion is available to hire for birthday parties, tea parties and small gatherings and will comfortably seat 24 people. It has a small kitchen area containing cups, saucers, plates, a fridge and water boiler.
There is access through the double doors to the securely fenced bowling green which is perfect for bouncy castles etc. Providing a large, safe, secure and level playing area for any birthday/family parties.
It is regularly used by the local football teams, school and also the tennis club. So unfortunately the Pavilion is not available to hire on Saturdays due to our commitment to the local football club.
For those interested in hiring the The Pavilion for team games – there are two team changing rooms with 4 showers in each room. There is an official’s room with a shower and also mens, ladies and disabled toilet facilities.
The charge for the use of the Pavilion and the Bowling Green together is £50 for any 4 hours between the times of 10am and 4pm.
The charge for the Pavilion use alone is £21 per session (each session is either a morning 9-12 or afternoon 1-4)
Courts
The two hardcourts are set up from Easter to the end of September as tennis courts and have the added luxury of LED lighting which is powered by tokens which can be purchased from the Square & Compass, Forden. The two courts are available to hire at a cost of £5 each per hour.
From September to Easter the courts are available to hire for Basketball, Netball and 5 a side football. Again with the advantage of LED lighting throughout all the winter months. Perfect for those wanting one off games or weekly clubs. The hardcourts are available to hire as one area at a cost of £5 per hour.
Please note – to book the Pavilion too for toilet facilities etc, there will be an extra charge (see Pavilion charges above).
Of course, our hardcourts are always open and free to use by residents of Forden, Leighton & Trelystan at any time, we kindly ask that those that have booked their time and paid for their hire understandably have priority over those who are playing for free.
